European Laboratory Robotics Interest Group (ELRIG): High Throughput BioProcess Development June 21, 2011

ELRIG's High Throughput BioProcess Development will discuss high throughput technologies and the possibilities they offer to help develop new biologic medicines and increase productivity in bioprocess development while shortening timelines and reducing costs. The event will feature case studies on high throughput cell culture, purification and analytics systems. Other topics will include: automated microplates, shake flasks and micro-bioreactors; primary recovery and chromatography operations; biologics characterization; the application of Design of Experiments; and translation of small scale results into large-scale processes, including single-use systems.

Richard Lugg will present on "High Throughput BioProcess Development, Presentation: Scaling Down Bioreactor Process Development, Comparison of Microbioreactor and Bench Scale Solutions."
