Eureka Symphony - Youth Concert and Youth Concert Finalists February 7, 2010

Come hear our exciting local young artists who have won the Youth Concert competition for this year. The Symphony will then entertain us with performance pieces especially interesting to our youth and the young at heart. We will hear the wild and fantastical "Night on Bald Mountian" by Modest Moussorgsky, followed by the gorgous "Intermezzo" from "Cavalleria Rusticana" by Pietro Mascagni. The children will delight in "The Musicians of Bremen" from the Brother's Grimm narrated by the beloved Donald Forrest and ending with a flourish on John Williams' "Superman."
