Eureka Symphony - Youth Competition Finalists February 8, 2009

Spain and Turkey are the next stop as we listen to 'Espana' by Emmanuel Chabrier and 'Ruins of Athens: Turkish March' by Ludwig van Beethoven. This concert also features outstanding youth in the community playing their winning selections. For the young attendees, the Orchestra will perform 'Gerald McBoing Boing' featuring text by Dr. Seuss and music by Gail Kubik. Be careful of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End' by Hans Zimmer as you voyage to the next stop.
