Ethel Waters: His Eye Is On The Sparrow June 18, 2009

The Human Race Theatre Company presents an amazing musical journey through the life of a great American star. Broadway veteran Danielle Lee Greaves portrays Ethel Waters, the first black superstar, as Waters looks back over her life, which went from the direst of origins to fame as a singer and actress and in the Billy Graham Crusades. The score includes all of Waters' greatest hits, from "Stormy Weather" to the title song.
