This course provides the students with an overview of Estimating Management. Designed for people with experience in the construction industry, this course integrates the many aspects of construction into the preparation of estimates and bids. Aspects such as Department Budget Development, Department Staffing Requirements, Hit Ratio Calculations, Niche Market Identification, Cost Over Billing Schedules, Bonding Issues, General Conditions & Home Office Overhead Calculations, and Production Rates. Examining these aspects as they function and relate to the bidding process.
