Harlem Stage is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Black Documentary Collective (BDC). The Gatehouse is the new home for their monthly meetings and we will partner with them to bring great films and insightful discussions with filmmakers to our audiences. Each evening is followed by a wine and cheese reception in the lobby.

Join us for this sneak preview before its June air date on PBS. The film chronicles the lives of three hip hop enthusiasts from Brazil, Chile, and Cuba who firmly believe that hip hop can change the world. Following the screening, there will be a Q&A with filmmakers Loira Limbal, Vee Bravo, and one of the film’s featured characters, Eli Efi, a hip hop artist/producer born and raised in São Paulo, Brasil. The film will also be broadcast on PBS in June.
