Experience the highly anticipated return of CAP with 'Archetype Vizcaya' by interdisciplinary artist and designer, Ernesto Oroza. The artist's project for CAP provides Vizcaya's visitors with a new tool to explore the Main House: a map of normally invisible things that reflects the artist's perspective on Vizcaya and its collections. Using contemporary approaches and theories of design, Oroza virtually re-organizes the objects and spaces of the museum. The maps are meant to be taken home and used as decorative elements or in any way visitors may choose: an idea of Vizcaya to take home and play with. A video library of amateur videos of Vizcaya found on the internet by Oroza, further explores how Vizcaya is appropriated, reinvented, and taken home.
