“Parodies Nuts!” is 28 audio and 25 video jewels in one package. Smooth-E has already gripped radio, TV and the web, with over 14 million online views, becoming a regular on the front pages of YouTube and Myspace with hits like “Crank That Kosha Boy,” “A Milli Vanilli” and “Lean Like a Gringo.”

One of the nation’s hottest rising stand-up headliners, Eric Schwartz aka Smooth-E and his music have appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Comics Unleashed,” BET’s “Comic View,” Showtime’s “White Boyz in the Hood,” Mun2, SiTV and more.

Pulling off funny, authentic-sounding parodies is a tough nut to crack. But Smooth-E cracks away, appealing across the board from hip-hop heads to soccer moms. Maybe it’s because he upholds one of the most important laws of hip-hop: “Rap about what you know about.” What if all you know about is small-town sterilization (“Suburbia”), having no bounce to your ballin’ (“Can’t Afford It”) and inappropriate relationships with laundry (“Love To This Sock”)?
