Slide blues-rock guitarist Eric Sardinas is a master Dobro player. His guitar work along with his gruff vocals makes for a thrilling, explosive concert experience.
Sardinas gets his inspiration from a melting pot of influences; R&B, gospel, rock and roll and most tellingly, his profound love of traditional blues forms. While those influences inexorably shape his playing he's no mere mimic. Instead, he's reinterpreting them into his own driving contemporary blues / rock sound. Eric's music hits you like a freight train...Don't miss seeing him live with his band Big Motor! www.ericsardinas.com
British singer / guitarist Joanne Shaw Taylor was 16 years old when she was discovered by Dave Stewart of The Eurythmics. Stewart was so impressed with Taylor’s guitar playing that he invited the youngster to join his supergroup, D.U.P. (Da Univerzal Playaz) on a European tour in 2002.
Listening to her breathtaking Ruf Records debut album, White Sugar, it’s safe to say that Joanne is well on the way to succeeding. Vocally, she has a strong, husky style, sort of understated, and somewhat reminiscent of Joss Stone with its soulfulness at times.
