Eric Fridrich and Overton Berry play Jazz April 20, 2012

7:30pm Friday, April 20th at the Upstage

Eric Fridrich, Overton Berry, and Jeff Davies will deliver a night of jazz
that benefits youth music education.

The last time this trio shared the stage, it was to a standing ovation at Benaroya Hall.
This time it will be close and intimate. This is the second Savor the Sound (non profit)
production Eric Fridrich has brought to the Upstage. Last August it was rock and roll
hall of famer Garth Hudson (The Band) and Eric playing each others songs together in
a sold out house, there was magic in the air. A tradition is made now as Overton Berry
is also a true legend in music. Overton was recently featured in the Northwest Legends of Jazz
documentary and has performed internationally for over fifty years.

The sound will be a conversation of Eric Fridrich's electric guitar, harmonica, and voice with Overton Berry's
grand piano and Jeff Davies on double bass. The music will be classic jazz and original compositions. The night
will be filled with improvisational moments and very personal connections to the audience.

Proceeds from the show will go to Savor the Sound's mission to bring youth music education to wherever it is needed.
