Legendary blues and rock guitarist Eric Clapton will woo you with Grammy Award-winning tunes like 'Change the World' and older favorites like 'Wonderful Tonight.' Slowhand's most recent album, 'Complete Clapton,' is a two-disc career retrospective that was released in October to coincide with his autobiography. His latest studio set, 2006's 'The Road to Escondido,' pairs the singer/guitarist with his hero, J.J. Cale, and snagged a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album.

In my Senior year in High School ( S.W. Miami Sr. High ) My Band
* The Kids * Opened for a Band from NY. called NRBQ, which was the band that prepared the Stage for ** THE CREAM ** at that time other Bands from The UK such as The Beatles, The Dave Clark Five, Jethro Tull, etc, made me unaware of Mr. Eric Clapton ... it seems that such Guitarist as Peter Townsend and Jimmy Page had more popularity then The One and Only Mr. Slowhand, at the time I had no idea who I was backstage with! Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker were
having a really Bad argument before their performance and Eric told me that he was using the thinness Gauge Strings because the tips of his fingers were causing him so much pain ! After The Show at The Hanger in North Miami I could never get his style of Playing and his Kindness off my mind .. You could say He became my Mentor, and now to Go to and be in the Presence of Two of the Greatest Guitarist
Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck on the same Stage will be a Historic Concert ... I can only Hope that a Video will be made for all of us that will not be there ! When Eric and Dwayne Allman recorded * LAYLA *
I truly believe He started his Long Trip to The Crossroads ... The Blues ! which in my own opinion He is now The Master Of ! He began with studying Robert Johnson's and all the other Delta Blues Players
and now can Play note for note with the likes of Buddy Guy and The Whole Blues Legends that are still on the circuit ! For myself it's a Long Shot but on my CD which I will finish recording in Miami's Famous Critiria Studio ... I have left the lead guitar empty hoping that He may Fill Two Songs and I have one Song that I've done the same on also Praying that Mr. Carlos Santana will Cut for me ! I'm 61 years
