American bluesman Eric Bibb and Malian singer-guitarist Habib Koité join forces in a magnificent evening of culture-crossing blues. Named Acoustic Artist of the Year at the Blues Foundation in Memphis in May 2012, Bibb plays an uplifting blend of blues, finding the place where blues meets gospel and soul. Koité is considered to be one of the leading figures in Afropop, creating a sparkling modern sound that draws on several styles of traditional Malian music. Together they are Brothers in Bamako, combining cultures and music for an evening of truly world-class guitar playing.
