Equinox Jazz Orchestra May 22, 2009

Jeremy Davis (who calls Monroe home) and the fabulous Equinox Jazz Orchestra will be at Strauss Theater for a fantastic big band experience. Based out of Savannah, Georgia, the Equinox Jazz Orchestra is a 17 piece ensemble that features some of the South's greatest vocalists. They perform the music of the Great American Songbook with a sprinkling of Motown, funky New Orleans, with an emphasis on Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Harry Connick Jr., Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Johnny Mercer, Tony Bennett and many more.
