Epic Fraud: An Arresting Story of Madoff’s Unraveling November 30, 2011

The FBI Phoenix Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBICAAA) and RBC Wealth Management will host a rare presentation with exclusive FBI insights into the Bernie Madoff case. New York City FBI Special Agent Gregory Hagarty will reveal behind-the-scenes information on what ultimately led to Madoff’s guilty plea in one of the largest Ponzi schemes in history.

Local FBI Special Agents from Phoenix’s White Collar Crime Division will offer insight on local securities and investment fraud cases and tips on how to prevent becoming a victim of financial fraud and white-collar crime.

The event benefits the FBICAAA to assist in upholding their mission: to promote a safer community through education and service projects.
