El Paso Community College is offering an 8-week vocational training course to become a Customer Service Specialist free to those who qualify. Learn the skills to become a nationally credited Customer Service Specialist. The next course begins September 21 with other courses starting soon. The course will be held at the EPCC Administrative Services Center Building B, room B 470, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3pm. Job placement is available through course grant partners: Echo Star, El Paso Times, Supreme Laundry, and Blood Systems. Gas vouchers are also available to those who qualify. Program entry requirements are:
Must have a minimum or equivalent of a 6th grade English reading level and complete the required assessments.
• Must be a member of a Food Stamp Recipient Household w/Dep. Children
• TANF or Choices Recipient
• Individuals At-Risk who are parents, including Non-custodial parents whose annual income is at or below $37.000 a year.
