Enmascarados: A Homage to the Social Phenomenon of Lucha Libre September 4, 2009

K Space Contemporary is pleased to announce the opening of a dynamic new art exhibition, "Enmascarados: A Homage to the Social Phenomenon of Lucha Libre". "Enmascarados" (the masked ones), showcases top Chicano artists' interpretations of the exciting and mysterious world of "Lucha Libre" (free fighting), Mexican style wrestling. A variety of photos, paintings, mixed media works, video and sculptures will be on display. The exhibition was curated by Austin artist, curator and musician Angel Quesada who also juried "Twisted Spurs". If you enjoyed "Twisted Spurs" then we're sure you'll love "Enmascarados".

Featuring a live wrestling by Luchadors: Mr. Atl and Monje Diabolico.
