Some 30,000 visitors are expected to attend the event and appreciate the very best of Scotland’s culinary larder from over 80 regional producers.
Visitors will be able to discover, taste and buy the very best in Scottish food and drink and enjoy watching celebrity chefs work their magic with their favourite ingredients from Scotland’s larder.
Household names and small speciality producers will be in attendance, eager to give visitors the true taste of Scotland.
Exhibitors include: Scarletts Honey; Gordon & MacPhail; Speyside Speciality Foods; Rannoch Smokery; Highland Game; Mackie's; Tilly Confectionery; Baxters; Highland Spring; Mackays; Macsweens' Cream O’ Galloway; Diageo; and Belhaven Brewery.
The unique appeal of the 'Enjoy the Taste of Scotland – get to know your locals…' event lies in the unprecedented quality of the products exhibited and the personal enthusiasm of the suppliers in encouraging visitors to try delicious products.
For inspiration in using all these products in home cooking, visitors can attend one of the many cookery demonstrations taking place in the Tesco Celebrity Cookery Theatre.
Sue Lawrence, George McIvor, Martin Wishart and Andrew Fairley are just some of the chefs preparing their favourite dishes at the show.
Tickets for the cookery demonstrations are free and can be collected on a first come, first served basis from the information desk.
There will also be a kids' area to help keep the wee ones entertained where they can learn fun and healthy facts about food and where it comes from.
This show will again offer a feast of delights for visitors, providing all the aromas, flavours, sights and sounds to enlighten the senses as well as the chance to win from the prize draw.
The event takes place from 4-6 May and is sponsored by Scottish Enterprise and Scottish Food & Drink.
