Enjoy “Family Celebrations” in November—join Westfield Sunrise and the Westfield Family Program for Family Fun Days, including the Fun Days for “big kids” (ages 6 & up) event. Our November Family Fun Days theme, “Family Celebrations,” brings family traditions alive.
Family Fun Days for Little Kids (Ages 2-5)
Join us on November 14 as kids read “The Doorbell Rang” by Pat Hutchins, a story that will teach kids the basics of sharing, and Thanksgiving favorite “I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie” by Alison Jackson. In honor of Thanksgiving, kids will make a paper plate turkey craft and enjoy a snack.
On November 28, kids will read “Snowballs” by Lois Ehlert, a book that will get the entire family excited for the winter months ahead, and “One Love” by Cedella Marley, a book adapted from one of Bob Marley's most recognized songs, One Love. Kids will also create a holiday photo ornament and enjoy a snack.
Family Fun Days for Big Kids (Ages 6 & Up)
Join us at our Family Fun Day for Big Kids event for ages 6 and up on November 28, as kids create their very own family recipe journal. Food Network star Jamie Deen has provided a special family recipe that kids can take home in a journal they decorate themselves.
