Carolyn Barnes Presents: English Flowers Abloom...Arrangements Re-created from the Jubilee Year Chelsea Flower Show

Carolyn Barnes is a Los Altos flowers arranger who enjoyed the Chelsea Flower Show in London during this Jubilee Year. She is a former home, garden, and crafts columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle and the Los Altos Town Crier.

Experience a British morning with an 'English Breakfast Tea' including homemade scones with Irish butter & strawberry jam, egg tartlets, fruit tartlets, tea, and coffee. A short photo presentation of the Chelsea Flower Show highlights, observe and be entertained as Carolyn re-creates several of the award winning arrangements. These arrangements in their vases will be available to the attendees in a Silent Auction, with all proceeds benefiting the Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden.

Enjoy a light morning "tea" on the Terrace of the Oshman Jewish Community Center facing the Santa Cruz Mountains and over-looking the treetops of Palo Alto and Mountain View. State of the art audio-visual equipment with two screens and an elevated stage will provide fabulous viewing of Carolyn's artistic creations. A map and ticket will be sent to you after you register.
