Engineers - come to a free workshop and tell your personal engineering story. Learn about effective communication, picture editing and making films, maybe even how to present yourself. Past participants have ranged from students to professors.
The idea behind the workshop is telling your own personal engineering story, through making a film matching pictures to your recorded script
The films will be used to inspire the engineers of tomorrow, by showing them at science festivals, putting them on websites and sending them out to schools.
It is sponsored by the Royal Academy of Engineering.
To see films already made, go to www.youtube.co.uk/digistories and click on the Engenious stories. For a recorded presentation describing this workshop, go to www.tellinglives.co.uk/tellinglives
This is the first part of three installments of this workshop. The next two are on 7 May and 14 May - same time, same place.
