Energy efficiency and the impact of emerging technologies will be the topic of discussion at the next Nano Bio Clean Tech Forum on Tuesday, September 16. The NBCT Forum, sponsored by the Clean Tech Institute and the International Association of Nanotechnology, will take place from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., at the organizations’ headquarters, 1290 Parkmoor Ave., San Jose.
Guest speaker Lee Cooper, manager of PG&E’s emerging technologies customer energy efficiency program, will provide examples of emerging technologies in the area of energy consumption and how individuals and businesses can implement the latest energy-saving technologies and programs.
Lee Cooper leads a team of energy efficiency emerging technologies project and portfolio manager and represents PG&E on the Emerging Technologies Coordinating Council. Prior to Joining PG&E, Lee worked at SAP, Oracle, MITRE Corporation and Raytheon Company in a variety of management and technical roles.
An overview of clean tech and nanotech training programs offered by the California Institute of Nanotechnology will also be presented, as well as financing options. Networking opportunities will take place before and after the presentation.
