Join the Green Tech Academy on Saturday, April 4, for a one-day “crash course” in emerging clean and green technologies, focusing on employment opportunities and money-saving ideas in the professional arena and at home.
The day’s 8-hour training program will be broken into five different segments:
• Clean Tech Consulting
• Green Collar Jobs
• Biofuel and Biomass Industry
• Green Building and Sustainability
• The Politics of Going Green
Each topic will be addressed by an industry expert, who will provide participants with useful information, which may easily be applied towards transitioning into the green technology field as well as cutting costs through proven sustainability practices at work and at home.
Green Tech Academy enrollees will gain an insightful overview of clean tech opportunities, commercial applications, trends in the growing marketplace and access to resources outside the scope of the training program. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the presentations and network with both the instructors and fellow classmates.
The training program will take place on April 4 at the Embassy Suites in Santa Clara, just off Highway 101, from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Enrollment is limited to 40 participants. All course materials are provided, meals are excluded from the registration fee and parking is free. Total cost for the training program is $295 per person, plus a $7.28 PayPal registration fee.
