encaustic workshop for beginners {b32} September 20, 2008

This introductory, one day course in encaustic painting will teach participants to paint in the ancient, non-toxic medium of beeswax-based paint. Each workshop features basic core information, including the history of encaustic, health and safety, studio set-up, and the fundamentals techniques of painting and fusing.
The workshop will cover the following painting techniques:
how to create depth and transparency, texture or ultra-smooth surfaces, transfer of drawings or Xerox images, stencils, and collage.

50% deposit will hold your space.
Balance due one week prior to workshop date.
Enrollment is accepted only after FULL tuition is received.
