Employment Ministry - Transition Support

Join us on Tuesday, April 27th at 6:30pm at St. Mary Immaculate Parish, 15629 South Rt. 59 in Plainfield. There is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome. Our members represent all ages, work backgrounds and future desires. Dress is casual.

If you are new to networking, come early for a special 6:30pm introduction to networking tools like the Handbill and the Elevator Speech to help you get the most out of your effort.

At 7:00pm, Pat Bayers, a popular motivational speaker will talk about his experience as a job seeker and ways for you to pull through these tough times. Pat’s a former sales all-star, with 15 years experience, who handled multi-million dollar national and regional accounts. He’s also been a Big 10 college football referee for the past 20 years.

You can also meet one-on-one with coaches to improve your resume, or networking tools; practice via a mock interview or to just talk with coaches who understand transition issues and can help.
