3 General/MCLE Recertification Credits
Digital technologies such as social networking websites, smartphones, and satellite-based mapping tools have fundamentally changed the way we think about the concept of privacy. Yet despite, or perhaps because of, the growing perceptions that our private domain is shrinking, employees are increasingly asserting their privacy rights at work. This session will review the latest developments in workplace privacy law and offer attendees practical tips for minimizing legal risks.
Our presenters will address topics such as:
* Background and credit checks
* Misconduct investigations using digital media
* Maintaining employee personnel and health-related records
* Employee data privacy protection obligations
