The Empire State Building will be lit in red and white on the evening before Canada Day in order to celebrate the 144th birthday of Canada. This is the third year that the Consulate General of Canada in New York is partnering with the Empire State Building to shine the spotlight on Canada-US relations and the close friendship and partnership shared by the two countries. The “high”-profile lighting will occur from sunset on June 30 through to 2 am on July 1 (Canada Day).
