The Rabbit Hole is excited to have Emily Chetkowski as our featured local author on Thursday, April 2nd at 5:00 PM. She will be reading her newest book 'Mabel Takes A Paddle', which will be out in bookstores this May. Emily is also be bringing along her dog Mabel and her bird friend, Bert. We are raffling off the very first copy, first edition book and also an Old Town Kayak. The book can be pre-ordered at a discount.
Emily will also be talking about her dad's book 'Just A Kid, a Guard At the Nuremberg Trials'. Emilio DiPalma was a courtroom guard at the Nuremberg trials, the first trial, of Hitler's top officers. Emilio guarded the witness stand through all the questioning and eventual confessions. He was only 19 years old at the time.

Emily has written a whole series of "Mabel" books. She lives in Massachusetts and her books are based on the adventures of her very own Mabel. Please come and find out why the local school children love to read her books.
And for any WWII buffs, the very interesting story of how Emilio DiPalma became involved in the Nuremberg trial. Bring your children and your grandparents to this event.
