Emerging Arts, in collaboration with Earthly Possessions, is pleased to announce "Metamorphosis: A Haitian Tale," a summer festival celebrating the art and culture of Haiti. The festival will be held Friday, June 25, through Sunday, June 27, at Zenergy at The SkyLoft in New York, and features new Haitian art, musicians, poets, guest speakers and performers.
The centerpiece of the celebration is an exhibition of thirty new paintings by three of Haiti?s finest emerging artists: EDDY GAETAN, JEAN CLAUDE and FELIX PATRICK VENERET.
Friday, June 25
6-8pm: FREE opening reception for the art exhibition!
8-10pm: Live poetry, dance performance and guest speakers
($5 admission for open bar after 8pm)
Saturday, June 26
6-10pm: Live poetry, dance performance, and special guest appearance
($5 suggested donation)
Sunday, June 27
Doors open at noon; 2-4:30pm: Tea Party
