Eme & Heteru has delighted crowds all year round, from DC's Africafest and the Smithsonian's "Underground" series to Blues Alley, Black President's Show and Afrobeat For Ya Soul in Adams Morgan.
The Band's name is derived from Het Heru (Heteru). In the ancient culture of Kemit, exists the beautiful goddess of Egypt. She is the goddess of music, dance, wine, joy and love.
