This year’s 2007 Annual International Theosophical Conference is being held at IONS [The Institute of Noetic Sciences] in Petaluma, California. [about a half hour North of the Golden Gate Bridge, on 200 acres of splendor, just outside San Francisco]

“Theosophy” [derived from ‘Theo’ - God and ‘Sophia’-Wisdom] is said to be the, Wisdom of the Ages’ handed down by Master Teachers centered in the heart of all true spiritual traditions, who have seen into the nature of reality beyond dogmas and shared their findings.

From Krishna, Buddha, Zoroaster, Confucius, Jesus, Egypt’s ‘Pot Amun’ to Plato, the Neo-Platonists and at the turn of the 19th Century, H.P. Blavatsky, referred to by many as, “the Mother of the New Age Movement”, this consciousness movement re-introduced Eastern Wisdom to the West, with concepts of Karma and Reincarnation and foreshadowed many of today’s cutting edge scientific discoveries. Einstein himself, was said to keep a copy of, “The Secret Doctrine” by H.P. Blavatsky, on his study desk. Today’s scientific and spiritual seekers are no exception, as presenters from around the world sharing at this year’s Theosophical Conference show:

The weekend retreat offers an intriguing line up of modern spiritual thinkers at the forefront of scientific inquiry:

From San Diego State University, Director of Multimedia, Dept. of Anthropology and Archaeology, Donna Byczkiewicz, B.A., discusses the new modalities acquiring critical mass to usher forth the evolution of spiritual consciousness in today’s world.

Canada’s clinical and forensic psychologist and mystic scientist, Christopher Holmes, PhD., author of, “God, Science and The Secret Doctrine”, will discuss the new physics and metaphysics of creation and Zero Point dynamics;

Steven Levy, M.D., Psychiatrist, shares his insights on depth psychology and an enlarged scientific paradigm that recognizes the mind as distinct from the brain,

And from the Netherlands, David Roef, PhD. Investigates the causal relationships between Science, Religion and Philosophy; and how mainstream scientific process meets ‘metastream’ Theosophical worldviews. Is there more than one ‘true’ scientific method?

Along with PhD Candidate in Neuropsychology, Helena E. Kerekhazi, M.S., ED.
Presents understandings about the latest developments in neurology today, from how we see beyond the nerve ganglia and neurotransmitters to the seeds of consciousness itself;

And Eva Moberg, M.S. from the Medical Faculty at Lund University in Sweden, offers
Practical awareness of complementary medicine through a deep appreciation of Bach Flower Remedies and their application;

And on Saturday, from 1:00 -3:00PM, Odin Townley, Producer of this year’s Theosophical Conference, along with Christopher Holmes, will moderate a ZERO-POINT LIVE RADIO SHOW with Guests: Dr. Steven Levy, David Roef, PhD, Eva Moberg, M.S. and Philip & Michele D’Arbanville, Founding Directors of Living Wellness Foundation,

Along with Presenting Guest: Santa Barbara’s Professor of Philosophy, California Polytech University and Fulbright Scholar, Germany, Judy Saltzman, PhD. ,
who will reframe the age old ‘God vs. Science’ controversy with a revealing expose of atheism in light of ancient and modern scriptures from both Eastern and Western traditions.
