The first in a series of workshops on techniques for creating intriguing patterns and rich color on plain papers for use in collage, card-making, and other mixed-media art or paper crafts. We will explore three techniques: paste paper, wet embossing, and cracked ice texturing. You will leave with a portfolio of samples, which you can save for reference (all methods are easily repeatable) or use in right away your collage and mixed media work. Materials and a handout are included.
