Michael Wollny's has generated huge waves of excitement across Europe with his confident and dextrous playing. As well as working with [em], Wollny has also enjoyed long-term duo partnerships with Joachim Kühn and Heinz Sauer. Now [em] - also featuring Eva Kruse (bass) and Eric Schaefer (dums) visit Band on the Wall for a concert which promises to be a sublime evening by this comet of the German jazz scene. Punchy, energetic and always suprising, [em] are a blazing and brave beacon for the future direction of contemporary German jazz.
