Elvis Costello with the SF Symphony March 27, 2006

The singer/songwriter will join the San Francisco Symphony in a performance of pop songs, as well as his first full-length orchestral work, "Il Sogno," recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Michael Tilson Thomas last year. Costello and the band will perform at 8 p.m. on March 27. Tickets are on sale now at the Davies box office and at www.sfsymphony.org. The concert will benefit the Symphony musicians' pension fund.
