The Jewish Community Center of Dallas in collaboration with the Lakewood Theater is bringing stand-up comedian, Elon Gold, to Dallas on Saturday, November 14th to perform his hilarious show “HALF JEWISH / HALF VERY JEWISH! The show will take place at the Lakewood Theater, 1825 Abrams Parkway, Dallas 75214 at 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $30 for the floor and lower balcony; $27 for the upper balcony. “Hilarious”, “original,” “incredibly talented” and “extremely handsome” are just a few of the terms used to describe Elon Gold. Considered to be one of the top comedians in the country, Elon has appeared on numerous TV shows including three recent appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In addition, he developed and starred in the NBC series In-Laws with Dennis Farina, and most recently, starred in the Fox sitcom Stacked opposite Pamela Anderson and Christopher Lloyd. Elon has made several guest appearances on Frasier, Las Vegas and was seen in the Steve Martin movie, Cheaper by the Dozen. This past summer Elon could be seen on the judge’s panel on ABC’s hit, The Next Best Thing using his sharp wit to evaluate, critique, and sometimes skewer celebrity impersonators.
Additionally, Elon performs at corporate events and comedy clubs across the country wowing crowds with his impressions and always making them laugh! And…. he “was a riot when he hosted the Chabad Telethon!”

Elon grew up in NYC where a yeshiva education provided him with a rich vein from which to mine comedy and faith. “I’m a pretty grounded guy. I find that observance – keeping Shabbat and kashrut, for example – is an oasis of morality in a world that can be morally bankrupt.” He calls himself “a ridiculously proud Jew.”
