Ellis Paul is one of modern folk's most significant stars. He was a major architect of the Boston school of songwriting, an urbane, literate style that helped ignite the folk revival of the 1990s. His charismatic performance style has influenced a generation of folk-popsters and his songs regularly appear in hit movie and TV sound tracks. Antje has placed first and second in the prestigious John Lennon songwriting contest and was selected a finalist in the USA Songwriting Competition. She has previously been described as a cross between Tracy Chapman, Ani di Franco and Shawn Colvin.
