Ellipsis Debut and Free Poetry Reading April 19, 2013

Westminster College hosts the 2013 Ellipsis?Literature and Art debut with a free reading by poet Barbara Strasko as part of the Anne Newman Sutton Weeks Poetry Series in the Dumke Student Theatre of the Emma Eccles Jones Conservatory.

Barbara Buckman Strasko's new book Grafitti in Braille contains poems originally published in Ellipsis. Strasko teaches poetry as a catalyst for literacy in high-poverty urban schools in Lancaster, Penn. She was named 2009 Teacher of the Year for River of Words, an International Environmental Poetry & Art Contest for Youth, and has also worked with Salt Lake City school children and teachers.
