Elliott Carter, dean of American high modernism, has crafted a body of music that is matchless in its intense, razor-sharp complexity, shimmering instrumental colors and radical counterpoint. Works of his chamber music will be played by Erika Duke-Kirkpatrick, April Guthrie, David Johnson, Mark Menzies, Kathryn Pisaro, William Powell, and Rachel Rudich.
