Elite Model Look Competition 2011 October 22, 2011

Back with a splash, the Elite Model Look competition will cruise the sunny shores of Singapore in search for the Singapore girl aged 14 to 21 who has what it takes to be a world-class supermodel.

Promising to be even bigger and better this year, the annual talent scouting contest will kick off with a series of casting events from 9 – 23 October 2011 starting at Vivocity and finishing off at Ion Orchard.

The Elite Choice judging panel will include esteemed personalities like Michaela Goddard, President, Elite Model Look and Global Head of Scouting; Elite Singapore management; Blueprint; Sharon Lim, Editor of Elle and a surprise celebrity judge.

Shortlisted hopefuls from the Singapore casting events will compete for 40 semi-final places and will have to impress the Elite Model Look jury for the 15 coveted spots at the Singapore Grand Finals.

Elite will select 2 supermodel hopefuls from the 15 finalists in the semi-finals, who will represent Singapore in the Elite international finals held this year in Shanghai and will stand a chance to compete for a contract with Elite Paris. An additional modelling contract worth $350,000 will also be shared among the top three global finalists.

Elite Model Look is the most renowned international model search contest. It is unique in providing the opportunity for young girls to enter the fashion world, become models and begin fabulous careers.

The Elite Model Look contest is a prestigious event open to beginners and has a single professional goal: looking for and discovering the young hopefuls who will become future top models.

The contest is open to all candidates will be based in Singapore for the duration of the competition. Citizenship and permanent residence are not requirements.

Fashion giant GUESS will be the presenting sponsor of the event.
