With special guests: Katherine Fong on violin (www.katherinefong.net) a member of the metropolitan opera orchestra since 2000, katherine will come down to the nuyorican and give us a taste of her high energy and virtuoso playing. Dan Lipton on piano (www.danlipton.com). Dan Lipton is a songwriter, arranger and ace musician who has forged a dynamic career by effortlessly straddling the uptown/downtown divide. A musical chameleon whose work bridges popular music, film scoring and theatrical projects, Lipton has earned a solid reputation as one of the busiest musicians in New York City. Rich has read, lectured, and facilitated adult and teen poetry workshops throughout the Northeast and beyond.
