Electric Vehicle Rally & Show September 24, 2011

The 39th Annual EV Rally and Car Show will be held Sept. 24, 2011 from 10am-4pm at Palo Alto High School at Embarcadero Road and El Camino Real. There will be production and converted electric vehicles on display, with some available for test rides or ride-alongs. Cars, trucks, SUVs, scooters, bikes, an electric surfboard, and more!

The Electric Auto Association (EAA) has been organizing this event for more than 30 years to help the public learn about electric vehicles. Meet people who have been using electric cars, bikes, scooters, trucks, and SUVs for years. Talk to vehicle vendors, battery vendors, conversion kit vendors, solar panel installers, and clean air organizations.

Expected vehicles (subject to change) include:

Tesla Roadster, AC Propulsion eBox, Nissan Leaf, Chevrolet Volt, Corbin Sparrow EVs, Chevy S-10 Truck EV, Ford Ranger Truck EV, Toyota RAV4-EV, conversion EVs including Mazda Miata, Porsche 914, VW Golf, and MG Midget, and electric bikes, scooters, and motorcycles ... and many others.
