The Racine branch of AAUW invites the public to its Nov. 2 program featuring "Eleanor Roosevelt Reflects," presented by Jessica Michna of Caledonia, historical re-enactor, actress, and historian.
Michna portrays the life, experiences and legacy of Eleanor Roosevelt, whose life was complex and filled with its own sorrows, tragedies and joys.
The event will be held at Infusino’s Banquet Hall, 3225 Rapids Dr., on Tuesday, Nov. 2, with registration at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m., and the program at 7 p.m. The menu is Orange Roughy or lasagna. for $16, but individuals may attend the program portion only free of charge. Reservations for the dinner or just the program should be made by Thursday, Oct. 28, by calling 681-3257 or 886-2413.
