Elder Law: Guardianship, Conservatorship and Alternatives October 22, 2009

Penny Davis, a partner in The Elder Law Firm, will be sharing on the informative topic the "Elder Law: Guardianship, Conservatorship, and Alternatives." Penny will talk about how to navigate the legal system to be appointed as guardian and/or conservator. She’ll also explain the role of a guardians and conservators and what alternatives exist for people who want to plan ahead for the possibility of incapacity.

Before working as an attorney at The Elder Law Firm, which was formed in 1998, Penny was the staff attorney for the Senior Law Project at Multnomah County Legal Aid Service for 14 years. She is the current chair of the Elder Law Section of the Oregon State
Bar and a past chair of the state bar's Health Law Section. Penny has written a number of articles on elder law issues and made many presentations to community and professional groups. We are excited to host this very informative event.
