Please join the Eastside Legal Assistance Program (ELAP) for its first annual Breakfast for Justice, featuring a keynote address by Microsoft General Counsel Brad Smith.
King County Prosecuting Attorney Dan Satterburg, chairman of the event's host committee, will also be on hand to introduce Mr. Smith.
Mr. Smith serves as chair of the Washington Roundtable, a leading Washington state-based business organization. He also chairs the Advocacy Committee of the Association of Corporate Counsel, co-chairs the Board of Directors of Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), and serves on the board executive committees of the Business Software Alliance, the Seattle Foundation, and the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
The Breakfast for Justice provides crucial funding for ELAP, enabling the organization to continue its 21-year tradition of providing legal aid to low income residents of East and Northeast King County, and to survivors of domestic violence throughout King County.
Support from the community is needed to enable ELAP to continue to offer these services, which are provided at no charge to the recipients.
On-site registration begins at 7:00 am with the formal program beginning at 7:30.
