El Diablo Robotico featuring Charlene Kaye and Special Guests December 19, 2010

El Diablo Robotico was formed slowly over the course of the second half of 2008, playing their first shows in the spring of 2009. Most of the band members are classically or jazz trained and the original concept of the band was to approach country music with ideas and sensibilities from the worlds of new music, noise and even 20th century chamber music while still remaining as true to the country tradition as possible.
In keeping with all those influences the band is very live focused in the studio, focusing on counterpoint, timbre and sound in a style that their violinist once called "chamber country"; a reflection in many ways of their style on stage.
