Eiteljorg Museum hosts Mid-east Classic Yo-Yo Contest
What: The Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art will host the Mid-East Classic Yo-Yo Contest, welcoming more than 50 competitors showcasing their talents in five different class divisions.
The public is invited to watch yo-yo competitors in action and experience demonstrations, free beginner’s workshops with Don Fisher, and opportunities to learn about the past and future of yo-yoing from members of the National Yo-Yo League. Guests can also see custom designed yo-yos in Camp Yosemite’s Yo-Yosemite display.
This event is free with general museum admission.
Who: The Mid-East Classic Yo-Yo Contest is spearheaded by Takeshi Kamisato (Ho Chunk) and will feature National and World Yo-Yo Champion Paul Yath.
When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, May 31
