The 5th annual ICT for Development forum, eINDIA 2009 (http://www.eindia.net.in/) will meet at Hyderabad, India, between the 25-27 August, 2009. The event is being organised by Centre for Science, Development and Media Studies (CSDMS) in collaboration with the Department of IT, Ministry of Communications and Information and Technology, Government of India. The event has Euro-India ICT Co-operation project, International Telecommunication Union (ITU), telecentre.org, Disease Management Association of India (DMAI) and International Society for Tele-medicine and e-Health as its eminent partners.
eINDIA 2009, a three-day international conference and exhibition, is a unique platform for knowledge sharing in different domains of ICT for development. It will bring together ICT experts, practitioners, business leaders and stakeholders of the region, onto one platform, through keynote addresses, paper presentations, thematic workshops and exhibitions. The event will provide an excellent opportunity for participants to interact with a wide and diverse development community.
eINDIA 2009, through its six seminal conferences, will focus on six application domains of ICT for development- e-Government, ICT in Education, ICT and Rural Development, ICT enabled Health services, ICT and agriculture and mobile applications and services for development. The six conferences are namely:

eINDIA 2009 will also serve as an exhibition host to some of the latest e-Solutions, services, initiatives and case studies from across India and beyond.
