The Eilen Jewell Band is Boston's up-and-coming acoustic blues quartet. With strong country and folk influences, the group is composed of harmonica, guitar, drums and upright bass. The group is characterized by its soulful blend of original tunes and those of Howlin' Wolf, Hank Williams and Billie Holiday. Since her college graduation in 2004, singer-pianist Jerzy Jung has been entertaining and affecting east coast audiences with her sultry yet powerful vocals, poetic lyrics, and emotive live performances.
