Eifman Ballet of St. Petersburg - Rodin May 23, 2013

Eifman Ballet returns with a new work by master choreographer Boris Eifman: Rodin. Based on the life of French sculptor Auguste Rodin (1840–1917) and his tempestuous relationship with his muse and mistress, Camille Claudel, this full-length ballet is a philosophic expression of the tragedy of Rodin's creative path and the price he paid for artistic immortality.
