EFTTA is a Trade Association for Manufacturers and Wholesalers of sportfishing equipment. EFTTA members can exhibit at EFTTEX, the leading international Fishing Tackle Trade Exhibition. Membership is open to Manufacturers, Wholesalers, Agents and Press in the tackle industry.

EFTTA was established in London in 1981, as an international, independent association to serve the European fishing tackle trade by campaigning to promote sportfishing, environmental issues and international business.

EFTTEX 2009 will take place from the 12th – 14th June 2009 in the Hungexpo exhibition centre, in the historic and fascinating Hungarian capital, Budapest.

Hundreds of visitors attend EFTTEX each year looking for new products and suppliers as well as the exhibition’s reputation as the meeting place for the fishing tackle trade. It surpasses all other major tradeshows with the highest attendance per country in the world. In fact, 70 different countries attended EFTTEX 2008!

With an increase in visitor numbers every year our survey from EFTTEX 2008 showed that nearly three quarters of visitors purchased up to 20% of their range at EFTTEX, 87% of visitors meet between 1-20 potential suppliers at the show, with 66% of visitors actually signing up between 1-10 new suppliers while 70% of visitors said they considered EFTTEX to be important or very important to the industry.

Here at EFTTEX you will see find some of the biggest industry names being your potential neighbours at the exhibition such as Shimano, VMC Rapala, Pure Fishing, DAM/Svensen to name a few.
