Do you often wonder if you're sending the right message via email? In this class, Alice will show you how to maximize your subject/greeting/signature lines, how make your message clear, and how to properly use the bcc/cc address lines. You'll learn what's acceptable grammar and punctuation in your personal and business emails. Joining Alice is social media expert and business coach, Martin Brossman, who will discuss how to minimize potential problems on and off the web such as handling emotionally charged messages and critical negotiations in progress, as well as figuring out the best medium for effective communication with your clients and colleagues.

About Alice Osborn:
Alice Osborn, M.A. is a professional writer, editor and speaker offering editing and writing services to small businesses and creatives. Alice is the author of Right Lane Ends (Catawba, 2006) and she is a United Arts Artist-in-Residence for Triangle area schools. Her work has appeared in The News and Observer (“Our Lives” column), Main Street Rag, Wake Living, Sandlapper, the 2008 and 2009 Kakalak Poetry Anthologies, the Raleigh Quarterly, Soundings Review, Gutter Eloquence Magazine, the Cape Fear Poetry Foundation Anthology and more.
